SLR has been involved in the development, ownership, lease-up and management of thousands of units of senior independent and Assisted Living in New England for over 18 years.

Since 1994 when the company launched its management division, SLR has provided strategic development consultation, as well as opened, staffed and managed over 25 independent and assisted living communities throughout New England for both for-profit companies and not-for-profit organizations.
The firm currently manages eight communities in eastern Massachusetts (two of which it owns). SLR is the management entity for a new assisted living community currently under construction in Methuen, which is scheduled to open in early 2008.
The privately-held firm was among the founders of assisted living in New England and is a leading innovator of programs to serve seniors across the economic spectrum. SLR has specific expertise in the marketing and operation of mixed-income and tax credit developments.
