At Cape Cod Senior Residences, residents plan their day to the fullest by selecting from a wide array of activities and enjoying entertaining and educational events. Our social, art, culture and fitness programs, developed with resident input, offers many opportunities for residents to spend time with each other, pursue individual interests, and host their families and friends at our special gatherings.

Our variety of programs address all of the needs that every person has -- social, physical, spiritual and intellectual. Our activities are not developed to keep people busy - they are designed to nurture and inspire!

Our programs are designed to appeal to a variety of tastes:

  • Musical entertainment
  • Shopping, dining & sightseeing excursions
  • Intergenerational programs with local schools & scout troops
  • Spiritual discussion group & opportunities for worship
  • Social gatherings, parties & seasonal events (warm weather events take place in our lovely couryard!)
  • Resident men's & women's clubs
  • Educational programs & current event group discussions
  • Painting, cooking & computer classes
  • Gardening (flowers, vegetables and herbs) in raised planting beds in our Community Garden
  • Cinema feature, bridge, bingo, poker, games & trivia

We hold exercise classes daily and have a few special additions our residents enjoy: 

  • A year-round Walkers Club
  • Tai Chi taught by a certified instructor (the general public is invited to join us)
  • Our local VNA hosts a weekly exercise class here for people in the Bourne area

 Liz Gossington, Director of Social Services, is a licensed social worker who oversees our activity program. She works with residents to develop programs and events to appeal to a variety of interests and hobbies.
