Our Memory Support Neighborhood will offer a gentle and secure environment for individuals with memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease. Residents’ needs will be addressed with compassion by staff professionally trained in Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
Our goals are to enhance residents’ existing strengths and skills and to minimize limitations through “failure-free” therapeutic activities and services. Daily activities are based on the concept of creating pleasant days.
Each resident’s Wellness Care Plan is developed in cooperation with family and reflects the resident’s interests, hobbies and professional skills before the onset of the impairment. This approach, with strong family involvement, helps residents maintain their individuality, independence and dignity.
A Family Partnership
Our innovative programming, expert staff and homelike environment will offer individuals with memory loss the best quality of life and their family’s peace of mind. We recognize that the effects of Alzheimer’s disease are far-reaching. We encourage family involvement in developing their loved one’s Wellness Care Plan and we provide on-going services to family members including regular conferences, support group meetings and educational programs.
