Directions

From Route 93 North or South

From Rt. 93, take Exit 15 "Columbia Road, Edward Everett Square."
If coming from the north: take a left at the bottom of exit ramp. If coming from the south: take a right at the bottom of the exit ramp.
(If you are coming from Points West, take the Mass Pike West into Boston and get onto Route 93 South.)
At the rotary, go half way around and continue straight onto Day Boulevard.
Follow signs for Boston, Castle Island, and Day Boulevard. (Ahead on your right will be state police headquarters and Carson Beach.)
At the third traffic light, take a LEFT (sign indicates left hand turn prohibited but only during 6AM - 9 AM.)
Take an immediate LEFT onto Columbia Road.
Continue straight for several blocks and through one traffic light.
Compass on the Bay is located just after the traffic light at G Street on the right.
You may park on either side of the street.

Our Guest Program is set up to welcome you and your loved one with memory loss as our guest for a full day – your loved one will be immersed in all programming, including our innovative Reconnections Program spend time with our professionally-trained caring associates, and try out our delicious meals.

Or you could really immerse your loved one in the life of our community through a Short-Term Stay to determine if Compass on the Bay is the right fit for you. This is a “no strings attached” opportunity to try out our community – your loved one will enjoy all of the amenities and services our community has to offer.

Serving Eastern Massachusetts

Our location in Boston across from Carson Beach offers beautiful water views and easy access to familiar landmarks, such as Castle Island, as well as to greater Boston’s cultural sites and health care facilities. We are very close to Rt. 93, Rt. 3 and the MassPike.

Compass on the Bay serves local seniors from Boston, MA and all throughout greater Boston, MA and the South Shore. Our residents from Boston include the neighborhoods of South Boston, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, Allston, Brighton, and Roslindale, MA. Families living in neighboring towns and cities, including Milton, Quincy, Randolph, Stoughton, Cambridge, and Brockton, MA find our location to be very convenient. Because of our expertise in Alzheimer’s disease, we also find that people are willing to move from further away. Residents often come here from the South Shore, including the towns of Weymouth, Hingham, Braintree, Cohasset, Scituate, Duxbury, Marshfield, and Rockland, MA as well as from the west of Boston, including the communities of Dedham, Newton and Needham, MA. Of course, anyone is welcome to move to Compass on the Bay, no matter where you presently reside. We look forward to meeting you!
