Concord Park, Concord, MA Wins Local Newspaper “Readers Choice Award”

June 2008

Concord Park, located in West Concord, MA has won a Reader’s Choice Award from the Community Newspaper Company for the third consecutive year. The independent and assisted living community was the #1 pick for “Best Retirement Living Residence” in Concord, MA and also won a “Silver Honorable Mention” for “Best Retirement Living Residence” for the entire Boston MetroWest region. The awards were published in a special edition of the Community Newspaper Company local weekly newspapers, including the Concord Journal, in June 2008.

Nancy Crowley, Executive Director of Concord Park, said, “We are honored that the residents of Concord and our neighboring towns voted us Number One. The tribute really goes to my excellent staff who strive day in and day out to do the very best that we can for our residents.”

She added, “Concord Park is a warm and vibrant senior community with a mission of enhancing the quality of life of our residents. While we foster independence in a socially active environment, our compassionate, professional staff is always ready with a helping hand – to prepare meals, clean apartments, do laundry and to assist with personal needs and medication reminders. We try very hard to maintain an atmosphere where each resident’s individuality, dignity, independence and privacy are respected at all times.”

Concord Park also enjoys high resident satisfaction. In the most recent survey just published in June, over 90% of Concord Park residents and their families who responded to the survey said that they are very satisfied or satisfied with the quality of life and the quality of services at Concord Park. And 87% said that they feel comfortable recommending Concord Park to a friend or family member. The vast majority of residents (93%) feel that they are treated with dignity and respect and that their privacy is respected. In Concord Park’s residential Memory Support Neighborhood which offers Alzheimer’s care, 100% of families who responded to the survey feel the same way about their loved ones.

Concord Park, located in the heart of the West Concord shopping village, offers local seniors Independent Living, Assisted Living and a residential Memory Support Neighborhood for those with Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss.
