Jamie A. Mathews, Executive Director, Compass at Hopkinton

Jamie Mathews is a seasoned healthcare professional with experience in management positions in assisted living communities, long-term care facilities and hospital settings for over 15 years, with a specialty in Alzheimer’s care. Most recently she served as Acute Facility Administrator of DaVita, Inc. in Weymouth, MA where she oversaw the contracted services for dialysis in 13 hospitals located in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Jamie has served as Executive Director of memory support communities and traditional assisted living communities in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Texas and Pennsylvania. With such a broad background in assisted living in several states, Jamie has a keen knowledge of industry best practices. As Executive Director in these positions Jamie managed all operations, hired and trained associates, executed marketing efforts, and developed community budgets.

Jamie has received several professional awards for her work, most notably when she worked for Benchmark Assisted Living in Massachusetts and won the Chairman’s Cup Award in 2005 for Best Overall Community in Financial Performance, Customer Satisfaction and Associate Satisfaction. She has a BA in Recreation Management and Therapeutic Recreation from Catawba College, Salisbury, NC where she won the College Achievement Award all four years.  She is a member of the Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association (MassALFA).
