Leadership Award to South Boston Business Associate

One of South Boston’s own won statewide recognition recently for his leadership skills. Paul Rinaldi, Activities Director for Compass on the Bay, South Boston’s memory support assisted living community, was the recipient of the Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association’s (MassALFA) 2011 Employee Leadership Award. This award is given to a staff person in an assisted living residence who exemplifies leadership through team building and strong communication skills.

The winners of The Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association (Mass-ALFA) 2011 awards were recently announced at the organization’s Annual Awards Dinner. Over 530 residents, family members, volunteers, and staff members from assisted living residences and business partners across the state joined in the celebration. Billy Costa, Kiss 108 and NECN's TV Diner, emceed the evening.

William McGrory, Executive Director of Compass on the Bay said, “Paul richly deserves this award. He is a wonderful asset for Compass on the Bay and the seniors who live here. He runs the social and wellness activities program with boundless enthusiasm and develops a wide variety of activities that appeal to individual hobbies and interests. We are lucky to have him!”
