Mary Baum is an expert in Alzheimer’s care with 10 years of experience in Assisted Living and Long-Term Care in Massachusetts. Prior to joining Concord Park in 2004 as Program Director of the Memory Support Neighborhood, she served as Program Director for the Inn at Robbins Brook, an Assisted Living community in Acton, MA and at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley, a long-term care facility in Littleton, MA.
Ms. Baum has a Train-the-Trainer certification from the Alzheimer's Association and been an Alzheimer’s Support Group Leader for over 10 years. She is a frequent speaker at the annual Massachusetts Alzheimer Association’s professional conference and served as Regional Leader for the Northern Middlesex Memory Walk from 2000-2003.
Her professional affiliations also include the Liberty Alzheimer Partnership for which she serves on the Steering Committee, the Alliance of Alzheimer Care Directors for which she served as President from 2003-2006, and the Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts.
