Senior Living Residences Announces New Management Contract for Assisted Living in Methuen, MA

South Boston, MA, March 18, 2008 – Senior Living Residences, a Boston-based senior facility development and management firm, announced a new management contract for an assisted living community now under construction in Methuen, MA.

Methuen Village at Riverwalk Park will offer local seniors independent and assisted living, as well as a secure Memory Support Neighborhood for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

The new senior community, scheduled to open in early 2009, is located in the heart of Methuen’s central business district set back from Broadway overlooking a lovely pond and meandering stream. The site’s location at 4 Gleason Street is ideal. It will offer residents an easy walk to shops and restaurants out the front door and an idyllic quiet brick patio with beautiful views of Spicket River out the back! The site will also be connected to Methuen’s well-known Riverwalk Park.

Methuen Village at Riverwalk Park will offer residents attractive spacious apartments with full baths and kitchenettes, a full dining program, personal care services, housekeeping, medication management, companionship, social and wellness programs, scheduled transportation, and more.

The building will feature 61 studio apartments, 24 one-bedroom units and six two-bedroom units.  At full occupancy, Methuen Village will be home to 97 residents. The indoor and outdoor community spaces at Methuen Village will be extensive and include a lovely Dining Room, Private Dining Room, Sunroom, Den and Country Kitchen featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and access to a wonderful brick patio overlooking the river and pond, as well as a formal Living & Music Room, Activities Room, Exercise  Room, Library, Card & Game Room, Media Room, Beauty Salon and Indoor Garden Center.

A furnished Model Apartment will be open for viewing in September 2008. Private tours and Priority Applications for Residency will also be available at that time.

Methuen Village at Riverwalk Park is being developed by owner David P. Spada of DS Development, LLC. Mr. Spada put together a team to build and manage Methuen Village with vast experience in the assisted living industry. DS Development has collaborated extensively with its select professional team to develop a senior living community that fosters social interaction and promotes the health and well-being of its senior residents.
