METHUEN, MA - Seth Dudley, Vice President for Business Development for Senior Living Residences, LLC, received an MBA in Aging Services from the Erickson School, University of Maryland Baltimore Campus, Baltimore, MD in December 2008.
Mr. Dudley was part of the first cohort to partake in an intense master's program offered to an elite group of leaders in the aging arena. He was chosen by Erickson's faculty due to his years of management experience in the field and his passionate drive to improve the quality of aging services.
Mr. Dudley, who is currently managing the start-up of SLR's newest community in Methuen, MA, intends to use the knowledge he has gained towards designing a state-of-the-art assisted living model, where services are provided through a holistic approach, rather than via the traditional separate medical and social offerings. "I am excited to use my experience towards creating a place where seniors can achieve an enhanced quality of life," he explained.
Bob Larkin, President of SLR, stated, "Seth’s accomplishment in completing this distinguished Master’s program is laudatory for him both personally and professionally. More importantly however, for the seniors who will be living at Methuen Village Assisted Living, Seth’s accomplishment wholly reflects his personal commitment to providing the best cutting-edge care available to elders."
The Erickson School advertises its new program as a path "designed for outstanding professionals who have demonstrated the capacity to lead and have shown the potential for even greater leadership responsibility." The coursework integrates the disciplines of aging, management, and public policy.
Senior Living Residences is proud to have Mr. Dudley involved in the start-up of Methuen Village, and the company’s principals are confident that his expertise will inspire his staff and propel the community towards a successful opening year.
