In our Compass Memory Support Neighborhood individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia enjoy a comfortable, dignified residential setting and treatment for the symptoms of their memory loss. Senior Living Residences (Standish Village's owner and operator) created “Compass Memory Support” - a mosaic of innovative research-based programs specifically designed to treat the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment (early memory loss) - with input from leading academics and clinicians, including staff from the Boston University School of Medicine's Alzheimer's Disease Center.
The Compass Memory Support Neighborhood, located in a dedicated, secured wing within Standish Village, accommodates only 17 residents, creating an intimate nurturing environment with a high staff-to-resident ratio and an exceptionally personal style of care.
We have a wealth of information to share with you about the innovative programming you can expect at all of SLR’s Compass Memory Support communities in eastern Massachusetts, as well as practical tips on communicating with a loved one with Alzheimer’s, how to get started on a search for the right residential community, and much more.
