BOSTON, MA – 2018 — Compass on the Bay recently announced that it has received the 2018 “Excellence in Action Award” from NRC Health in the Workforce Satisfaction category. This award recognizes senior communities that have achieved the highest overall employee satisfaction scores in the NRC Health database – the largest source of long-term care and senior-living satisfaction metrics in the nation.
The measured results were based on surveys of associates conducted during the last year by NRC Health. Compass on the Bay clinched an overall employee satisfaction level within the top ten percent among thousands of independent and assisted living communities across the country. They are one of only four Assisted Living communities in Massachusetts to receive this distinction, a list that includes their sister communities, Cape Cod Senior Residences in Bourne and The Cambridge Homes in Cambridge.
“It truly is an honor to receive this recognition,” says Executive Director Matt Desrosiers. “We work hard to create an environment based on kindness, respect and open communication. We know that treating our associates well and valuing their contributions leads to a better home for our residents to enjoy.”
Compass on the Bay is a Memory Support Assisted Living Community for those with varying levels of memory loss including Mild Cognitive Impairment (early memory loss) and diagnosed Alzheimer’s disease, and is managed by Senior Living Residences (SLR) of Braintree, MA.
