Acton Council on Aging Hosts Paying for Assisted Living Seminar

ACTON, MA — On Thursday, July 18th the Acton Council on Aging hosted approximately 40 local seniors for a presentation on “How to Pay For Assisted Living”. The event was presented by Concord Park, an Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support Community located in West Concord. 

Presenter Maryellen King, Director of Community Relations at Concord Park, provided guests with an educational program on what Assisted Living is, what makes up the cost of assisted living and what options are available to make it more affordable. This presentation also helped participants become better versed in the structure and terminology of the assisted living industry, clarifying topics such as pricing structures, tax benefits and financial assistance programs.
