Farmington Station’s First Car Show is a Huge Success

Farmington Station Assisted Living recently hosted their first Antique Auto & Classic Car Show, featuring a display of over 30 cars. Most cars on display were antique or classic cars, with a few modern cars rounding out the exhibition. The stunning variety of vehicles dazzled the crowd of residents, families, friends, and staff. The community was delighted to host an afternoon of family-friendly activities.

Attendees enjoyed hot dogs, freshly popped popcorn, snacks and cider. DJ Jim from Wedding and Party Connection added to the lively atmosphere by playing classic hits to entertain the crowd. In addition to the entertainment, residents and families were excited to see and take pictures with the range of old and new cars at the show. There was even a 1950s poodle skirt and top on display to accompany the antiques!

“We’re so glad that our first car show was a success!” says Farmington Station Executive Director Lindsay Miller. “It’s amazing to see residents, families, and members of the Farmington community come together for some quality time. We hope to host this event every year, so that we can provide more opportunities for fun and community building in the future.”
