Cornerstone at Milford is collecting items to fill stockings with gifts for the Ruth Anne Bleakney Senior Center to be distributed to Milford area seniors for the holidays. This "Stockings for Seniors" initiative was launched in 2013 with the generous support of many local businesses and organizations. The holidays can be a difficult time for many seniors who may not have family nearby or may have experienced personal losses this year. Stockings for Seniors is an effort to be able to reach out to these individuals to let them know they are not forgotten and provide them of the true gifts of the season.
This year, the requested item list includes clothing items and winter accessories, personal care products, and other useful household items, which may be dropped off at the community (11 Birch Street, Milford) from now until November 25th. For more information about how to get involved, please reach out to Michelle Hamilton at 508-473-0035 or email@example.com.
