Farmington Station is professionally managed by Senior Living Residences, ranked #1 in Massachusetts by the Boston Globe, #31 in the nation by USA Today, and Great Place to Work® Certified! To be recognized is an extraordinary honor, made so much more special because these achievements were based on direct input from our associates.
We asked our associates…
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
“Every day I walk through the front door of our community I strive to change the lives of my residents, families and associates. Whether it’s meeting with a family in crisis that is looking for assisted living or memory care support for their loved one, greeting a resident with a smile and hug in the hallway or talking through a challenging situation with an associate…I get to make a difference every single day.”
– Lindsay Miller, Executive Director
“It is most rewarding to me to make the connection with residents and Families that leads to the relationship that my team and I have with them. Giving them a clean , safe place to live and enjoy, it is what we are all about.”
– Jim Moynihan, Director of Building & Grounds
“I would have to say That the most rewarding part of my job, has to be the relationship I have built throughout my 27 year career in Senior Services. My residents have become family to me, I have become their family. Well, what can I say ‘a way to a person’s heart is through their stomach!’ I love what I do and the difference I have made in their life. But most importantly the difference they have made in mine.”
-Claribel Alago, Director of Dining Experience

I love my job, being here for 10 years speaks volumes. It allows me to grow, knowing that there’s opportunity to learn and do better.
– Ana Sharp, Director of Business Administration
“The most rewarding part of my job is helping a resident through a difficult time, whether it be an issue with a family member or a new diagnosis. A thank you isn’t even needed because you can just tell they are so grateful!”
-Mermisa Carney, Resident Care Director
