When someone joins the Ridgefield Station community, we become their partner in healthcare.
In addition to the wellness and support services residents receive at our community, we work closely with your healthcare providers to gian a comprehensive vision of their care needs. If you need a healthcare provider, we welcome several local practices directly into Ridgefield Station to offer onsite services. We are also happy to refer you to other practices in the greater Ridgefield area. Whether you are already a Ridgefield Station resident or are settling into your new home, we will support you with visiting physicians, mental health services, pharmacy and outside care coordination, dental and vision care, and transportation to nearby medical appointments.
At Ridgefield Station, resident choice is the center of our approach— who you choose as part of your healthcare network is entirely up to you. When you join our community, you can continue working with the providers you’re most comfortable with and keep your existing relationships, or you can opt to work with our onsite partners.
Onsite Care Partners
Physicians, Geriatric Care, Lab Services
For those who would like to receive care in the comfort of their apartments, we work with Prime Healthcare, Ibis Medical Care, Dr. Valetta of Reliant Housecalls, and Dr. Edward Berman Internal Medicine to bring primary care directly to the community.
We also partner with Quest Diagnostics and Preventive Diagnostics for lab draws and onsite diagnostic services if desired.
Direct-to-Community Pharmacy Coordination
Our partnerships with Suburban Long Term Care Pharmacy, Bissell Pharmacy, and OmniCare CVS ensure that residents and families don’t have to worry about leaving the community to get the medications they need. Our local pharmacies deliver directly to Ridgefield Station.
Visiting Nurse and Speech, Physical & Occupational Therapy Resources
If you have conditions that require evaluation and rehabilition and prefer receiving care directly at Ridgefield Station, we partner with local practices to support your recovery and help you return to your normal activities as soon as possible.

Outside Care Coordination
If your loved one needs to leave Ridgefield Station for additional care, we will be there to support you through the entire process. We’ll keep in consistent contact with residents, families, and the hospital or rehab center, with our nursing team ensuring a smooth transition back into the community.
Our local hospitals include Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT and Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT, and we also partner with Powerback Rehab to You for inpatient care.
For those seeking inpatient geriatric psychology care, we refer to the Senior Behavioral Health Unit at Sharon Hospital.
