Supporting Jewish Residents at SLR Marlboro
At SLR Marlboro, we enjoy having several residents who continue to practice Judaism after moving to our community. For many seniors, faith is an important part of their lives, and we are committed to helping residents maintain their connection to the Jewish community at SLR Marlboro. We are proud to offer:
- Kosher-inspired menu options every day, enjoyed in our restaurant-style dining room
- Weekly Shabbat service hosted by residents
- Honoring Jewish traditions through music, art, food, and prayer
- Special celebrations for Jewish holidays and observances, including Rosh Hashanah, Passover and Hanukkah
- Opportunities to find spiritual connection and mental wellness, including mindfulness classes
SLR Marlboro Couple Hosts Compassionate Shabbat
Each week, residents Jules and Sandy Levin host a beautiful Shabbat service right here in the community! All are welcome for the service, which provides a place for Jewish and non-Jewish residents alike to connect over faith, peace, friendship, and togetherness. Read all about why they love hosting Shabbat.
