Cape Cod Senior Residences Delivers Meals to Local First Responders

BOURNE, MA – Cape Cod Senior Residences in Bourne wanted to find a way to give back to the local first responders who have been working tirelessly since the onset of Covid-19 to keep people safe and deliver life-saving medical attention. On May 4th, the Independent and Assisted Living community hand-delivered dinners to Pocasset firefighters as a way to say thank you and also recognize International Firefighters Day.

The meals, which included ribs, chili, and potato salad, were prepared and packaged by the community’s culinary team and delivered to the fire station by a group of residents and Cape Cod Senior Residences team members.

“We are fortunate to have really strong partnerships with our local community professionals in Bourne, including the dedicated first responders here in Pocasset,” says Michael LeBrun, Executive Director of Cape Cod Senior Residences. “We wanted to let them know that we are still thinking of them and appreciate all of their hard work!”
