MILFORD, MA – On Sunday, May 22nd, Cornerstone at Milford hosted their 1st Annual Car Show, featuring a 50s Sock Hop theme. Guests enjoyed the display of 48 antique, muscle and classic cars. Residents, family, friends and staff gathered in the sunshine for a day of 50s-themed fun.
Emcee Cruisin Bruce Palmer kicked off the event with some musical entertainment. Attendees then took a trip down memory lane with 50s-inspired diner food and posed for photos alongside the magnificent car display. Staff adorned their uniforms with vintage neck scarves and bandanas, and there were smiles all around. To top it all off, the event raised $1,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association with raffle prizes, T-shirt sales and donations.
“Our entire team really came together to help before, during and after the event,” shared EnrichedLIFE Director Leah Martel. “I also want to say a special thank you to all of the local businesses that donated items to our raffle. With the success we had this year, I can’t wait to see what happens next year!”
