Cornerstone at Milford Hosts Furry Friends

Resident Ruth Shane is dazzled by the alpaca

Residents at Cornerstone at Milford tapped into their animal-friendly sides with a recent visit from “Lilly” and “Nutmeg,” two alpacas from Plain View Farm in Hubbardston. Residents, staff and visitors got a chance to admire the animals, pet their soft fur and marvel at their gentle demeanors.

Plain View Farm is a family-owned and operated alpaca farm. It cares for the alpacas, hosts group tours, and takes the animals out to surrounding communities.

Built in 2013 on the site of the former Greenleaf Farm on Birch Street, Cornerstone at Milford offers assisted living services and memory care for those with Alzhiemer’s and related dementia.
