AYER, MA – In a year that has been uniquely challenging for us all, the residents of Nashoba Park Assisted Living in Ayer took time last week to celebrate what they are most thankful for. The community’s dedicated team of associates ensured that the day was truly special, preparing a delicious, traditional Thanksgiving meal complete with roast turkey and all the fixings.
As residents entered the dining room for their holiday meal, they were greeted by an inflatable turkey – which created a lot of laughs. The dining room was also adorned with photos sent in by family members far and wide, so that residents could “share” a meal with their loved ones. The photo collages brought back many happy memories, and brought extra joy to the festive, if slightly different, holiday celebrations.
Now that Thanksgiving has passed, the community is already looking ahead to the December holidays, and planning even more unique surprises for the residents.
