Harvest Fest Brings the Fall Season to Standish Village

Standish Village kicked off the fall season with their Harvest Fest on September 30th. Residents, families, friends and staff gathered outside the Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support community in the crisp autumn air for a beautiful afternoon. The event space was decorated with scarecrows, cornstalks and pumpkins.

The day was jam-packed with family friendly activities such as cornhole, giant Jenga, a photo booth, and a circus performance. Bubble machines and balloon hats and animals enhanced the playful atmosphere. To further liven up the festivities, a live DJ entertained the crowd with hits for all ages. Attendees were certainly well fed with the Good Trucking Pizza food truck on site. For a sweet treat to round out the food selection, there were cupcakes adorned with orange and chocolate frosting.

As the event went on and the sun went down, the crowd settled in for a movie under the stars. A campfire made for a cozy ambiance. This was the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and residents to gather around the fire and spend quality time together.
