The Cambridge Homes announces scholarship at Longy School of Music

The Cambridge Homes, an independent and assisted living community that has been a fixture in Cambridge for more than 130 years, recently announced a new annual scholarship for students studying at Longy School of Music of Bard College.

Selected yearly from Longy’s “Music as a Healing Art” program, The Cambridge Homes Music Practitioner Scholar is a student who demonstrates strong talent and a commitment to The Homes’ mission of service and caring.

Longy School of Music and The Cambridge Homes have a continued partnership through “Music as a Healing Art,” in which Longy students taking a course of the same name are given the opportunity to create and develop therapeutic music programs. 

The Cambridge Homes and Longy School of Music have announced that the 2019-2020 Cambridge Homes Music Practitioner Scholar is Job Salazar Fonseca, who is pursuing both a Master of Music degree in baroque violin and music practitioner certification. Read more in The Cambridge Chronicle/TAB >>
