The Cambridge Homes Wins 2015 Excellence in Action Award

Local senior community recognized for the third consecutive year for exemplary commitment to quality

2015EIAlogocolorCambridge, MA – October 26, 2015 — The Cambridge Homes announced today that it received the 2014-2015 “Excellence in Action Award” from the National Research Corporation which recognizes senior living and long-term care organizations across the country that achieved high levels of customer satisfaction. This is the third consecutive year that The Homes has earned this national honor.

The customer satisfaction results were based on a survey of residents and families conducted last year for The Cambridge Homes by My InnerView, a division of the National Research Corporation. The Homes achieved an overall customer satisfaction level that falls within the top 10% of organizations across the country, in terms of the number of respondents rating the community as “excellent” in answering the question, “What is your recommendation of this community to others?”

The Cambridge Homes’ achievement is significant because the satisfaction database through the National Research Corporation is the largest in the US, encompassing thousands of assisted living and long-term care communities across the US.

“Our entire staff shares the belief that the needs of our residents and their families is of the utmost priority,” explains Helene Quinn, Executive Director of The Cambridge Homes. “We are very pleased to be recognized for this commitment to quality.”

The Cambridge Homes was one of only 5 Massachusetts assisted living communities to be recognized.

Robert Larkin, President of Senior Living Residences, the professional management company that oversees day-to-day operations at The Cambridge Homes, cited the professionalism and dedication of the staff for winning such high marks from residents and their families. “This is a community comprised of dedicated professionals who work day in and day out to provide a comfortable, supportive and culturally enriching home for the seniors who live here. Each member of The Cambridge Homes team should feel honored.”

For more than 30 years, National Research Corporation has been at the forefront of patient-centered care and its My InnerView survey programs help assisted living and long-term care communities improve quality, resident and family experiences, and employee engagement.

Established in 1887, the not-for-profit Cambridge Homes features 44 independent and assisted living apartments and offers residents a wide variety of cultural, educational, wellness and social programs. More information about The Cambridge Homes can be found at
