When a new resident joins the Neville Place community, we become their partner in healthcare.
Together with the wellness and support services our community offers, we work closely with your loved one’s healthcare providers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their care needs. If you are searching for a healthcare provider, we partner with trusted local professionals who can deliver services onsite for convenience, and we can also refer you to other practices in the greater Cambridge area. Whether you’re already a resident at Neville Place or transitioning to your new home, you can feel confident knowing we’ve got you covered—from visiting physicians and mental health services to pharmacy coordination and transportation for scheduled medical appointments.
Resident choice is the core of our approach– you decide who is part of your healthcare provider network. When you move to Neville Place, you can continue seeing the providers you know and trust or choose to work with our onsite partners—the decision is entirely yours.
Onsite Care Partners
We partner with the Cambridge Health Alliance House Calls Program to offer onsite Nurse Practitioner and doctor’s visits. CHA comes to the community once a week or by appointment.
For those who need a Geriatric Care Manager, we work with Elizabeth Savage from Lifecare Advocates. The GCM provides a variety of services for residents and families, including care planning, healthcare research, and transportation.
Direct-to-Community Pharmacy Coordination
Greater Boston Long Term Care Pharmacy provides pharmacy services for Neville Place residents, meaning that you don’t have to travel to pick up prescriptions! GBLTC Pharmacy visits the community once a month for medication deliveries or as needed for medication changes. Through this partnership, residents can also choose to receive comprehensive drug reviews and assessments for extra clinical support.
Visiting Nurse and Speech, Physical & Occupational Therapy Resources
If you need rehabilitation and recovery for certain conditions, we bring in local practices to help you get back to your daily activities as soon as possible.

Outside Care Coordination
When a resident needs to leave the community and go to the hospital or rehab, we stay with you through the entire process. We prioritize communication among healthcare providers, the community, and residents and families because we want to be able to welcome them back to the community when they’re ready. Our nursing team will consistently communicate with case Managers to play an active role in the discharge process.
All of us share the goal of bringing your loved one back home to Neville Place. Together, we’ll review any necessary changes to their care plan and explore additional services to ensure they have the support they need.
