Receptionist / Concierge (Per Diem)
Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States · Neville Place

DESCRIPTION
Neville Place is seeking a dynamic, friendly, and courteous individual. The ideal candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively, have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, show star quality phone etiquette and perform administrative skills as needed. 
 
We are looking for a receptionist on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm-8pm and as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greeting visitors
  • Handling phone calls
  • Being the main point of contact for emergency situations
  • Acting as concierge for residents
  • Recording resident attendance at meals; Managing staff and guest meal payments.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of resident records
  • Assisting the Executive Director with marketing inquiries and tours
  • General office duties such as faxing, filing, supply ordering/inventory and calendar management
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education / Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent certificate preferred
    • Possesses expert knowledge of telephone system
    • Front Desk / Customer Service Experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Basic computer skills (word-processing, spreadsheets, internet)
    • Knowledge of general office equipment including telephone systems and printer/copier
    • Must be comfortable to assist in emergency situations, and able to do so in a calm, competent and efficient manner
    • Candidates must have reliable transportation
    • Background checks will be completed prior to employment.

Resident Care Associate (CNA)

Neville Place is seeking Resident Care Associates to join our community!

At our community, priority number one is the enhancement of each resident’s Quality of Life. We focus on the whole person, not just the treatment of their most basic physical or cognitive needs. Our method is to individualize a plan of care for each resident, providing just the right combination of services to optimize their overall well-being, independence, personal dignity and enrichment.

DESCRIPTION:
Our Resident Care Associates (CNAs or CHHAs) are responsible for the delivery of quality care to the residents of the community, encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, intellectual, and mental well being.

A desire to serve seniors and a dedication to improving their quality of life is required. RCAs must maintain a positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide
  • Resident Care Associates must demonstrate experience in geriatric care, work well with seniors showing understanding and patience, be a flexible team player, and demonstrate a desire to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Background checks will be completed prior to employment.
