When someone makes Methuen Village their home, we become their partner in care.
We offer a range of wellness and support services at our community, and we also communicate with your healthcare providers to gain a well-rounded understanding of your care needs. If you’re seeking a healthcare provider, we work with a number of local providers who offer onsite services for convenience. We are also happy to refer you to other practices in the greater Methuen area. Whether you are already a resident at Methuen Village or are transitioning to your new home, we’ve got you covered with visiting physicians, onsite mental health services, pharmacy coordination, and dental and vision care.
Whether you are working with your current providers or our onsite care partners, resident choice is at the heart of our approach. You can always choose to maintain existing relationships with providers you are already seeing, or to receive care directly in the community– who you choose to be part of your healthcare network is completely up to you.
Onsite Care Partners
Primary Care Coordination
If you prefer onsite primary care, we bring First Choice Community Medical Services into the community, with a Nurse Practitioner onsite each week. If residents require lab services, we work with Quest Diagnostics.
Direct-to-Community Pharmacy Coordination
Gone are the days of traveling to pick up prescriptions! We work with Greater Boston Long Term Care Pharmacy, who will deliver resident medications directly to the community as needed. Residents can also choose to receive comprehensive drug reviews and assessments as part of their extra clinical support offerings.
Visiting Nurse and Speech, Physical & Occupational Therapy Resources
If you have conditions that require rehabilitation and recovery and prefer to receive care directly in the community, we bring in local providers so that you can return to your normal activities as soon as possible. The following providers offer onsite support at Methuen Village:
- Caretenders – VNA & PT at the community weekly
- Elara Caring – VNA & PT at the community as needed
- Enhabit Home Health, at the community as needed
Vision, Dental, Hearing & Podiatry Providers
If you are seeking specialist care, are also connected to practitioners in additional services like vision, hearing and dental care, as well as podiatry.

Hospice Partnerships
We work with Constellation Hospice, Hospice Services of Massachusetts, and Care Dimensions Hospice, who can provide care directly in the community.
Outside Care Coordination
If a resident needs to leave our community for a hospital or rehab stay, we stay in touch with residents and families at every stage so that we can welcome residents back when they are ready. Our nursing team also stays in close contact with Case Managers to maintain an active role in the discharge process.
We all share the goal of bringing your loved one back to Methuen Village, and we can work with providers to review care plan changes and bring in additional services to give your loved one the support they need.
Local hospitals include Lawrence General Hospital and Holy Family Hospital – Methuen, and area rehabs include Nevins Nursing & Rehab Center and Northeast Rehab Outpatient Clinic.
