At Methuen Village, we’re happy to work closely with each resident’s healthcare team to get to know their health and care needs and treatment plans. With support from our trusted local specialists, many of whom provide services right within our assisted living and memory care community, we make sure residents get the care they need. If additional care is required, we help connect residents with the right professionals to ensure their physical and mental well-being. Plus, we offer transportation for local medical appointments.
Whether you are already a resident at Methuen Village or are transitioning to your new home, the care you need is right around the corner, from in-house primary care services to strong partnerships with rehab centers, visiting nurse associations, audiology, and more!
Primary Care Coordination
PCP’s, Lab Services
For primary care, we welcome First Choice into the community, with a Nurse Practitioner onsite each week. We also collaborate with New England Community Medical Services.
Should residents require lab services, we work with Quest Diagnostics.
Mental Health Services
Mental Health, Geripsych, Psychology
Whether you are working through challenges or difficult transitions or just need extra support, our partnership with behavioral health service providers ensures that you have someone to talk to. We collaborate with Supportive Care Behavioral Health to bring in a team of mental health counselors, who are at the community weekly. Benefits of this service include:
- Access to a network of psychologists, clinical social workers, psychiatrists, NPs and PAs
- Support for anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness and isolation, and more
- These services also provide extra support to manage memory loss and other symptoms of cognitive decline and dementia
Pharmacy Coordination
Gone are the days of traveling to pick up prescriptions! We work with Greater Boston Long Term Care Pharmacy, who will deliver resident medications directly to the community as needed.
Visiting Nurse and Speech, Physical & Occupational Therapy Resources
Our partnerships with visiting nurse associations and home health agencies help you with conditions that require assessment, rehabilitation and recovery so that you can return to your normal activities as soon as possible. We work with:
- Caretenders – VNA & PT at the community weekly
- Elara – VNA & PT at the community as needed
- Enhabit Home Health, at the community as needed
Vision, Dental, Hearing & Podiatry Providers
We are also connected to specialists in additional services like vision, hearing and dental care, as well as podiatry, with many of these services available right here at our community.

Hospital, Rehab & Hospice Partnerships
If a resident needs to leave our community for a hospital or rehab stay, our nursing team stays in touch with residents and families at every stage so that we can welcome residents back when they are ready. We also work with hospice centers to bring services directly to the community. We recommend:
