The Cambridge Homes is Recognized for “Excellence”

Excellence In Action Award Recognizes Exemplary Commitment To Quality

[Cambridge, MA] – October 8, 2013The Cambridge Homes announced today that it received the 2012-2013 “Excellence in Action Award” from the National Research Corporation which recognizes senior living and long-term care organizations across the country that achieved high levels of customer satisfaction.

The customer satisfaction results were based on an internal Resident & Family Experience survey conducted last year for The Cambridge Homes by My InnerView, a division of the National Research Corporation. The Homes achieved an overall customer satisfaction level that falls within the top 10% of organizations across the country, in terms of the number of respondents rating the community as “excellent” in answering the question, “What is your recommendation of this community to others?”

The Cambridge Homes’ achievement is significant because the satisfaction database through the National Research Corporation is the largest in the US, encompassing thousands of assisted living and long-term care communities in 46 states.

“We are honored to recognize The Cambridge Homes for its commitment to continuous quality improvement and successfully making quality a priority to better serve the needs of residents, families and employees,” said Susan L. Henricks, President and COO of National Research. “We also congratulate The Cambridge Homes for taking the proactive initiative to measure quality.”

The Cambridge Homes was one of four Massachusetts assisted living communities that won this award. The others were Pine Hill in Lenox, Regina Cleri in Boston and Youville Place in Lexington.

Robert Larkin, President of Senior Living Residences, the professional management company that oversees day-to-day operations at The Cambridge Homes, cited the professionalism and dedication of the staff for winning such high marks from residents and their families. “This award is a testament to every single member of The Cambridge Homes staff from caregivers to dining and housekeeping associates to our EnrichedLIFE Director and the rest of our management team who work day in and day out with enthusiasm and devotion to provide a comfortable, supportive and culturally enriching home for the residents who live here.”

For more than 30 years, National Research Corporation has been at the forefront of patient-centered care and its My InnerView survey programs help assisted living and long-term care communities improve quality, resident and family experiences, and employee engagement.
