Concord Park Senior Living held a Dash N’ Dine curbside meal pickup for their professional partners June 24.
Attendees enjoyed a home cooked picnic style dinner for two including a full chicken, strawberry feta pasta salad, fresh chilled vegetables, focaccia bread, wine and a chocolate ganache tartlet for dessert.
“At Concord Park, we are committed to providing education and support to our neighboring partners,” said Maryellen King, director of community relations at Concord Park. “It may be hard for some to find the time to cook nutritious meals for themselves and their families right now, so we wanted to help ease that burden in any way we could.”
Now in its fifth year, Concord Park’s Dash N’ Dine menu always pulls from the community’s Brain Healthy Cooking program, an award-winning nutrition program that brings taste tested, Mediterranean inspired menu options to their residents daily. The program features nutrient-packed ingredients like leafy greens, nuts, whole grains, fresh fish and other foods that have been scientifically proven to boost brain and whole body health.
