Concord Park Seniors Receive Art from Local Students

At Concord Park Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support, students from near and far have been sending letters, art and inspirational messages to bring extra cheer to residents.

“It’s really touching to see the outpouring of community support,” said Natasha Heimrath, executive director at Concord Park. “Residents light up when they see a letter, note or drawing made specially for them.”

The community has received special deliveries from the Willard School and Concord Children’s Center, who shared messages with their art. The most surprising delivery has been a card from Switzerland.

“We can’t wait to see what comes in the mail each day,” said Heimrath.

Those interested in sending cards to residents of Concord Park can contact Katherine Bailey at kabailey@concordpark.org.
