83% percent of the help provided to older adults in the U.S. comes from family members, friends or other unpaid caregivers. A dementia diagnosis can have a profound impact on the individual and on their family system as a whole. This discussion will help you understand this emotional journey and provide insight into how you can help. 

You will learn about:

  1. The transition families go through once
    a loved one is diagnosed with dementia. 
  2. How to help families through this challenging transition.
  3. How to promote and support self-care
    for caregivers.
