Innovative Programming in Ridgefield CT
Ridgefield Station offers residents enriching, everyday opportunities aimed at promoting independence, inspiring curiosity, and encouraging connections with others.
Spend the Day Your Way with EnrichedLIFE Programming
Our EnrichedLife program is built on life long learning, connectivity, and embracing new adventures . This well designed program is made up of activities that allow residents to enjoy long standing passions while also discovering new hobbies. Ridgefield Station’s amenities include a cozy library, art room, fitness studio, cinema, physical therapy room, and much more, serving mind, body, and spirit in a whole-body approach. Residents can mingle in the lounge for live entertainment, take a trip to a local museum in our sleek limo-bus, or sit back and relax for a movie in our theater.
We believe that soothing and mindfulness activities are just as important as hands-on engagement, which is why our program also offers quiet activities for residents to relax their minds. Peaceful walks outdoors, visiting with loved ones, and indulging in a new book allow seniors to embrace the quiet moments. Our community is built with warm and inviting spaces for all residents to feel at home.

Reconnections for those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia
The primary goal of our secure Compass Memory Support Neighborhood® is to ensure that the ‘whole person’ is recognized and celebrated, and not be defined by their diagnosis. We do this in a number of ways and through a variety of programs, including Reconnections, a unique curriculum-based program where residents are immersed in a new topic each week. Learn more about our Compass Memory Support Philosophy
Our highly trained team is focused on providing dignified care, individualized services, a full calendar of structured, socially engaging activities, and a brain-boosting dining program. At the core of Compass is a belief in treating the symptoms of dementia with unique programming, rather than relying on medication.
Ridgefield Station is proud to have received the Purple Flag for Dementia Accreditation™️, Learn more about what this award means for our residents, families, and associates at PurpleFlag.org.
Ridgefield Station Residents Share “Pearls of Wisdom” through Intergenerational Programming
As a way of connecting with the local youth community, Ridgefield Station has ongoing partnerships with The Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield and The Ridgefield High School National Honor Society. Signature events include the annual Senior/Senior Prom, a fun night of dancing and music, Seniors Advising Seniors, where residents share “pearls of wisdom” with the younger generation, and beautifying the community’s outdoor spaces with colorful raised garden beds and planters. The residents and students all cherish the opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of one another’s experiences through friendship, compassion, wisdom, and new perspectives.
