About Our Community

Nashoba Park, a Volunteers of America senior community, is a historic renovation of the former Ayer Community Hospital. It is nestled in the heart of the Historic District on the hilltop just above downtown Ayer, MA.

We offer local seniors gracious accommodations, a full range of supportive services and many amenities at reasonable monthly rates.

Residents have their choice of private studio and one-bedroom apartments and enjoy a variety of beautifully furnished community areas, including a lovely landscaped courtyard and patio.

Nashoba Park was established by the nonprofit Volunteers of America, the nation's largest nonprofit provider of affordable housing for the elderly. The community is managed by Senior Living Residences of Boston, a trusted name in senior housing and care since 1990.

Serving the Community

Nashoba Park serves local seniors throughout Nashoba Valley, including the towns of Ayer, Groton, Harvard, Acton, Boxborough, Shirley, Townsend, Pepperell, Lunenburg, Lancaster, Westford, and Littleton, MA. We also serve other Massachusetts communities a bit farther away, including Fitchburg, Leominster, Clinton, Gardner and Athol. Additionally, we have had seniors from several New Hampshire towns close to Massachusetts move here, including Hollis, Brookline and New Ipswich, NH.
