METHUEN, MA – With fresh cut flowers, homemade treats, and potted succulent plants for sale, Methuen Village transformed their Riverview Lounge into a community farmers market this past Earth Day. Residents of the Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support community enjoyed browsing the market, which Methuen Village plans to host yearly.
“I was so impressed with the creativity of our programming team for putting this market together and finding a way to talk about Earth Day and sustainability in a really fun way,” said Tracy Valletti, Executive Director of Methuen Village. “Seeing residents excited about something new is always the best part of my job.”
