Memory Care Staff Available 24/7

Our care team’s approach is to personally get to know your loved one as an individual — his or her personality, past profession and lifestyle, and preferences for a daily routine. With this knowledge, we can treat the symptoms of your loved one’s disease with unique programming and redirection, rather than relying on medication.

When new residents move into our community, we work with their doctors to establish a plan for weaning them off antipsychotic medications whenever possible. When behavioral challenges arise, our caregivers are trained in gentle techniques to redirect and comfort residents in ways that don’t involve medications. This is different from other communities, where medications are often used as interventions.

You can also have peace of mind knowing we have Certified Resident Care Associates available 24/7 as well as several RNs on our team who are available for counseling and advice, ensuring we are maintaining the highest level of care for each of our residents and support for their family members.

Try Out Community with No Strings Attached

Unlike many memory care communities, Heights Crossing offers flexible short-term respite stays with no minimum commitment. This allows residents to experience the community before making a longer-term decision or receive additional support after a hospital or rehabilitation stay. Families also turn to our respite program for temporary care during vacations or when a primary caregiver needs time to rest and recharge.
