Dr. Claire Appling, former Headmistress of Brockton High School and resident at Heights Crossing, recently celebrated her birthday at the community she calls home. Family, friends, and residents gathered for a joyful afternoon, honoring Dr. Appling’s service to the Brockton community.
The event space was decorated with colorful gold and pink balloons and blue lights, making for a great, festive atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed a cheese and cracker-filled charcuterie board. Sweet treats such as pink-frosted cupcakes, M&M-studded cookies, and a beautiful chocolate cake topped with frosted flowers rounded out the dining table.
Brockton High School alumni were quick to reach out and give their support. They shared some kind words and fond recollections of Dr. Appling’s years as Headmistress. Their thoughtful comments are a testament to the many lives on which Dr. Appling has made a profound impact.
