Donated Lobsters Bring Smiles to Heights Crossing Seniors

BROCKTON, MA –  Residents of Heights Crossing Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support Community were treated to a special lobster roll lunch on Tuesday thanks to the donation of 80 live lobsters from local businesses.

Boston Lobster Company in South Boston provided the lobsters, which were paid for by New Generations Moving & Storage of Bridgewater. Elara Home Care helped to coordinate the donations. For the companies, it was the perfect opportunity to give back to local seniors in a big way.

“We really just want to thank Matt Egan from Boston Lobster Company, Shaun McCue from New Generations Moving & Storage, and Sarah Shorey Adams from Elara Home Care for their incredible generosity,” said Kathy Hermanson, Assistant Executive Director at Heights Crossing. “Residents loved having a little taste of summer on a spring day.”
