Needham Retired Men’s Glee Club

Join us for the entertainment of the Needham Retired Men’s Glee Club. This group, directed by John Whiteside, has a repertoire that ranges from Broadway musicals to folk songs, spirituals to sea chanties, glee club favorites to “golden oldies” and sing-a-longs. It was founded in 1964 to bring together retired men with a mutual interest in choral music and to share that love of music with audiences in Needham and surrounding communities.

Canton Memory Café

November 21st | 1:30 pm
Join us at the Canton Public Library (786 Washington St, Canton) for Canton’s Memory Café! This free event is co-sponsored by Cornerstone at Canton, BrightView Canton, Canton Public Library, ComForCare Home Care, and the Canton Council on Aging. A Memory Café gives those with memory loss and their caregivers the opportunity to connect with others for support, companionship and fun. We provide a safe, supportive and stigma-free gathering place for friends with varying levels of memory loss, Alzheimer’s or related dementia to relax and enjoy conversation with their caregivers and loved ones. Casino Night Fundraiser benefits the Canton Food Pantry

Cornerstone at Canton's Casino Night fundraiser featured food and games with over 200 attendees. The event raised $1,300 which they donated to the Canton Food Pantry on June 14th.

St. John's Students Impacted by Intergenerational Program with Cornerstone Residents

Since 2015, students from St. John the Evangelist School in Canton have been visiting residents at Cornerstone at Canton, regularly taking part in programs at the senior community. The relationship began in the Fall of 2015 and has grown into a 2-year program with seventh and eighth grade students visiting monthly, learning how to create adaptive and therapeutic programming for seniors.

St. John School students visit Cornerstone residents

A group of 8th grade students from St. John School in Canton recently visited residents at Cornerstone at Canton. This was the second year that students took part in an educational partnership program at Cornerstone.

Cornerstone Assisted Living Associate with Bright Future as a Dancer

Kaylee, one of our dining associates has been recognized for her impressive accomplishments as a dancer. She has been accepted to Point Park University with a Dance Scholarship but will first spend a year in LA dancing with professional choreographer Rudy Abreu!

Cornerstone at Canton received THREE recognitions in the 2018 Readers Choice Awards. We were given the Bronze Regional Award for Best Assisted Living Community, as well as #1 in Canton. We also received an Honorable Mention for Best Retirement Living Residence! Thank you to everyone who voted.
