Destination: Italy” will include a day of activities, including an engaging travelogue about all the beauty of Italy; a delicious lunch with strolling Italian music; a chance to make authentic biscotti to enjoy with Italian espresso in our cafe; and a Discovery Learning program about the Ten Most Famous Italian Painters. The public is invited to stop by and join in any of these programs!
Forestdale Park Honors Boston Music Legend Fred Buda
Forestdale Park Senior Living in Malden honored one of their residents, Fred Buda, with a Lifetime Achievement Award. A Fall River native, Buda has had a prolific music career and left quite a mark on the Boston music scene, holding positions in the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, Boston Ballet Orchestra and founder of his own Fred Buda Quintet. Many of his former colleagues were in attendance.
Celebrating Past and Present at Forestdale Grand Opening
Volunteers of America Massachusetts held the Grand Opening of its new senior residence, Forestdale Park, on Wednesday, June 13. State and local officials, residents and their families, local community and business leaders, healthcare professionals, and the greater Malden community were in attendance at the ribbon-cutting celebration.

The Malden Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Forestdale Park Senior Living Residences to host a “Hardhats & Cocktails” networking event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 19, 341 Forest St., Malden.
