Residential Features

Our new community, built on the site of the former Greenleaf Farm, features spacious studio and one-bedroom apartments, as well as an array of community spaces designed to support a vibrant community of individuals doing the things they love, trying new experiences and enjoying the company of their neighbors. Through the building amenities and our robust EnrichedLIFE programming we support and encourage an active independent lifestyle.

The building’s design includes a dramatic dining room, a library with computers available for community use, a full-service salon where residents can have their hair and nails done, a Café where residents will enjoy "brain healthy" cooking classes by our own Executive Chef, and a large community room where we showcase the performing arts and visiting guest lecturers. The exterior amenities include a lighted paved walking path around the building leading to destinations and resting spots, including a gazebo, planting beds and patios.

In a nod to the location's former use as a working farm and apple orchard, the interior designers for Cornerstone at Milford opted for a refined country look - sophisticated, clean and crisp - featuring natural woods, neutral fabrics and pops of color throughout. The floor plan is bright and airy with open sight lines coupled with smaller intimate spaces. The natural woodwork showcased in the fireplace mantels and built-ins and the residential-style lighting and accessories convey a feeling of home and tranquility.

Serving the Local Community

Conveniently located at the intersection of Rte. 109 (Medway Road) and Birch Street, Cornerstone at Milford is just one block from Rte. 495 and only minutes from downtown Milford, providing easy access to the area’s shopping, dining and cultural attractions, as well as local medical services and facilities.

Cornerstone at Milford serves seniors from throughout the Metrowest area and Worcester County, from Framingham, MA to the larger Worcester, MA area. The specific towns we serve include Milford and neighboring communities, including Medway, Hopkinton, Uxbridge, Upton, Holliston, Ashland, Southborough (Southboro), Westborough (Westboro) and Hopedale.

Because caring for seniors with dementia takes special expertise, families often will choose a memory support assisted living community slightly further away than they would be willing to travel for traditional assisted living. Our sister community, Compass at Hopkinton, has drawn individuals from towns throughout Metrowest - from Framingham, MA to Marlboro, MA to Worcester, MA and including the smaller communities of Bellingham, Franklin, Grafton, Hudson, Millis, Milbury, Maynard, Natick, Shrewsbury, Boylston, Bolton and Northborough (Northboro), all in Massachusetts.

Of course, anyone is welcome to move to Cornerstone at Milford, no matter where you presently reside. We look forward to meeting you!
