Dining Room Server (Full Time & Part Time)

DESCRIPTION
Cornerstone at Hampton assisted living community is seeking both Full Time and Part Time Dining Room Servers to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with seniors, come and be part of the team that gives our amazing residents and their guests an enjoyable and delicious dining experience!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Wait staff is responsible for serving meals to residents and guests in the dining room, assisting cooks in preparation of meals, and setting clearing tables in the dining room along with other cleaning tasks that are assigned by the Director of Dining Experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred as well as a flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed are required.
  • Candidates with ServSafe certification preferred.
  • A desire to serve seniors and a dedication to improving their quality of life is required.
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation.

Housekeeper – Hampton, NH

DESCRIPTION
Cornerstone at Hampton is seeking a full time housekeeping associate to join our team from Sunday-Thursday.

At our community, priority number one is the enhancement of each resident’s Quality of Life. We focus on the whole person, not just the treatment of their most basic physical or cognitive needs. Our method is to individualize a plan of care for each resident, providing just the right combination of services to optimize their overall well-being, independence, personal dignity and enrichment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Director of Building & Grounds with apartment turnovers.
  • Handle service/maintenance calls from residents.
  • Assist with general daily housekeeping.
  • Perform ongoing and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Keep exterior grounds clean and free of debris, and perform light grounds care.
  • Handle snow removal and salts and/or sands on walkways, sidewalks and entryways, as assigned.
  • Assist with moving furniture and trash removal, as assigned.
  • Assist with Model Apartment set-up for touring.
  • Provide support to various department directors on community special events, holidays and marketing functions.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • One or more years related experience in a similar work environment preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and oral, with residents and staff
  • Must be able to relate well with seniors, demonstrating a pleasant, tactful, compassionate, manner. Must have a desire to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias
  • Must be dependable and reliable, maintaining a positive and professional attitude and a calm demeanor; able to follow directions
  • Must be a flexible team player with the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment actively promoting a culture of teamwork across departments, cooperation, enthusiasm, customer service, and an atmosphere conducive to growth
  • Heavy lifting and moving, requires physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds or more on a regular basis as required

Medical Technician

Responsibilities:
  • Communicates questions, concerns, and/or discrepancies related to medication administration/assistance to Resident Care Director(RCD)/Wellness Nurse
  • Communicates any significant change of mental or physical status of resident to RCD/Wellness Nurse
  • Documents administration/assistance on Medication Administration Record (MAR)
  • Documents/notifies RCD/Wellness nurse of administration/assistance of PRN meds
  • Responsible for documentation on PRN meds and affect, as allowed per state regulations.
  • Able to properly chart medications administered/assisted and immediately report to the Nurse any medications not administered/assisted for any reason
  • Answers emergency calls and attends to residents’ needs promptly
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate supply of medications (ordering and reordering)
  • Provide personal care as directed by the service plan and as scheduled on the MT’s shift assignment in a compassionate, professional and efficient manner
  • Monitor residents who self-administer medications and make the required record entries to the Medication Management Record Book at appropriate times, and notify the supervisor concerning any observed effects of self-administered medications
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Certified as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) and Medication Nursing Assistant (MT)
  • Must have experience in geriatric care, work well with seniors with a compassionate, patient and understanding manner, and demonstrate a desire to serve individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementia
  • Must maintain a positive and professional attitude and project a calm demeanor

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Certified as a Licensed Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide
  • Resident Care Associates must demonstrate experience in geriatric care, work well with seniors showing understanding and patience, be a flexible team player, and demonstrate a desire to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias.
