Housekeeping Associate – Hampton, NH

DESCRIPTION
Cornerstone at Hampton is seeking a hardworking and dedicated professional to join our team as a full time housekeeping associate!

At our community, priority number one is the enhancement of each resident’s Quality of Life. We focus on the whole person, not just the treatment of their most basic physical or cognitive needs. Our method is to individualize a plan of care for each resident, providing just the right combination of services to optimize their overall well-being, independence, personal dignity and enrichment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follow cleaning and laundry schedule as outlined in housekeeping staff assignment.
  • Clean residents’ units on a weekly basis as assigned and perform emergency housekeeping duties when accidents occur.
  • Clean residents’ units and common space floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming. Clean movable furniture and fixtures. Dust, spot clean or wash, disinfect when necessary, polish where required. Empty, clean, and reline wastebaskets. Straighten or re­arrange furniture as directed.
  • Clean bathrooms. Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, and walls as directed. Wash windows and mirrors. Replenish bathroom supplies in common areas.
  • Clean walls, windows, doors, and ceilings. Disinfect as necessary. Clean ceiling fixtures as scheduled. Replace light bulbs as required.
  • Collect soiled laundry from residents’ apartment according to assigned laundry schedule. Sort, launder, fold and return clean laundry to each resident’s unit. Iron articles as requested by resident.
  • Maintain cleanliness of laundry work area on a daily basis.
  • Maintain equipment used in performance of duties.

Resident Care Associate (LNA/MNA/CNA) – Hampton, NH

Cornerstone at Hampton is seeking Full and Part-Time LNA, MNA, CNA, and HHAs who are certified by Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Maine!

DESCRIPTION:
Our Resident Care Associates are responsible for the delivery of quality care to the residents of the community, encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, intellectual, and mental well being.

A desire to serve seniors and a dedication to improving their quality of life is required. RCAs must maintain a positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Certified as a Licensed Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide
  • Resident Care Associates must demonstrate experience in geriatric care, work well with seniors showing understanding and patience, be a flexible team player, and demonstrate a desire to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Background checks will be completed prior to employment.

Van Driver (Part Time) – Hampton, NH

DESCRIPTION
Cornerstone at Hampton is seeking a Van Driver to join the team on Tuesdays (8:30am-4:30pm), Wednesdays (9am-12pm) and Thursdays (8:30am-4:30pm).

The driver will be responsible for providing safe transportation for our community residents to and from activities and excursions, as well as other duties as assigned by a supervisor. This individual will also support with activities that residents participate in.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Drive the bus in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner
  2. Assist residents in and out of the bus at all times
  3. Properly secure equipment including wheelchairs
  4. Provide excellent customer service
  5. Maintain a clean driving record
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. A positive “can do” attitude
  2. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  3. 1-2 years experience in a professional driving position is preferred
  4. A desire to serve seniors and a dedication to improving their quality of life is required.
  5. Candidates must have reliable transportation.
  6. Background checks will be completed prior to employment.

Dining Room Server (Full Time)

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred as well as a flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed are required.
  • Candidates with ServSafe certification preferred.

Senior Living Residences (SLR) is seeking part time Wellness Nurses to support Cornerstone at Hampton on weekends during the 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts. There is the opportunity for the ideal candidate to assume a 12-hour shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Wellness Nurse will assist the Resident Care Director in their duties. Assignments are varied, and can include any of the following:
  • Assessment, Service Plan Development and Oversight
  • Management and Training Duties
  • Budgeting, Quality Control and Compliance
  • Record-keeping
  • Conduct tours and community outreach, and conduct assessments of potential residents
  • Serve as “manager on duty” on a rotating weekend schedule with other managers
  • Participate in social activities with residents as scheduled

REQUIREMENTS:
  • RN or LPN who is a graduate of an approved nursing program with valid nursing license or otherwise meets the requirements of New Hampshire’s Assisted Living regulations.
  • 1-2 years experience with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills and an acute sense of responsibility and moral integrity.
  • Strong assessment and care planning skills.
  • Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Sincere desire to work with residents and ability to deal with residents under all conditions.
  • Compassion and patience essential; level-headed and calm in emergencies.
  • Ability to cooperate with other associates in a team environment.
  • Must be willing to perform non-essential duties as needed. Must possess a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm in order to create an atmosphere conducive to growth.
  • Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the job including standing, sitting, bending and moving residents (one person assist).
  • Must have means of transportation to complete assessments for new and returning residents.
