Memory Support Assisted Living

$('#s3').cycle();

Located within the well-established Golden Pond Assisted Living campus, Compass at Hopkinton offers innovative programming that treats the symptoms of those living with memory loss in a lovely secure residential setting. Senior Living Residences' cutting edge research-based programming - Compass Memory Support - was developed with leading clinicians and researchers from the Boston University School of Medicine’s Alzheimer’s Disease Center.

We provide a new approach to Alzheimer's care which supports our residents in maintaining their independence, life skills and abilities. Personal care, medication management, nutritional and social services, and enrichment activities are individually tailored for each resident. We also offer enhanced on-site clinical services for seniors aging in place.

Our Executive Director oversees our program and living areas, which serve residents with varying levels of memory loss:

  • Individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia clearly benefit from a secure environment, as well as our innovative programming and industry-high staff-to-resident ratio.
  • Residents experiencing the early symptoms of dementia (Mild Cognitive Impairment - mild memory problems, some confusion) benefit from a full array of memory support services, all focused on maintaining and improving brain function for a higher quality of life.

Compass at Hopkinton offers local seniors an intimate nurturing environment and their families the peace of mind that comes from knowing their loved one is receiving the very best of care.

If you are considering Compass at Hopkinton, please check out our Affordability Calculator, a quick worksheet that will help you compare your current living expenses with those of a senior living lifestyle. The Photovoice Project

Senior Living Residences is proud to be the first senior living company to complete this innovative project with individuals with memory loss. The PhotoVoice Project empowers our residents to give voice and vision to their lives. Please view the video from the opening reception of Compass at Hopkinton’s PhotoVoice Project in June. It was quite an inspiring evening.

Serving the Local Community

Compass at Hopkinton serves seniors from throughout the Metrowest area and Worcester County, from Framingham, MA to the larger Worcester, MA area. The specific towns we serve include Hopkinton and its neighboring towns: Ashland, Southborough (Southboro), Westborough (Westboro), Milford, Upton, Holliston, Milford, Hopedale, and Medway.

Because caring for seniors with dementia takes special expertise, families often will choose a memory support assisted living community slightly further away than they would be willing to travel for traditional assisted living. We've spoken with individuals from towns throughout Metrowest - from Framingham, MA to Marlboro, MA to Worcester, MA and including the smaller communities of Bellingham, Franklin, Grafton, Hudson, Millis, Milbury, Maynard, Natick, Shrewsbury, Boylston, Bolton and Northborough (Northboro), all in Massachusetts.

Of course, anyone is welcome to move to Compass at Hopkinton, no matter where you presently reside.  We look forward to meeting you!
